A ceramic coating is a hard layer bonded to your clear coat. Water beads and runs off instead of sitting, brake dust and road film rinse away instead of baking on, and the paint stays glossy with far less effort.
The important part is what happens before the bottle is opened. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it — so if the paint has swirl marks, a coating seals the swirl marks in. That is why coating quotes vary so wildly between shops: the prep is the expensive part, not the product. We decontaminate and correct first, every time.
We price by what actually gets coated. Paint is $899, wheels are $349, glass is $349. Take one or take all three. Paint correction, if the car needs more than the standard prep, is quoted separately.
One honest thing worth saying: a coating is not armour. It does not stop stone chips and it does not stop someone reversing into you in a car park. What it does is make the car dramatically easier to keep clean, and keep it looking new for far longer than wax ever will.

Questions about ceramic coating
What does a ceramic coating actually do?
It bonds a hard, slick layer to the clear coat. Water beads and sheets off, brake dust and road grime sit on top instead of bonding into the paint, and washing becomes much quicker because dirt has far less to hold onto. Gloss goes up noticeably.
How long does it last?
We don't publish a number, and we'd be suspicious of anyone who does without conditions attached. Longevity depends almost entirely on how the car is washed and stored afterwards — an automatic tunnel brush will wreck a coating far faster than weather will. We'll tell you exactly how to look after it, and that advice matters more than any figure on a website.
Do I need paint correction first?
Often, yes. A coating seals in whatever is beneath it, so applying one over swirl marks locks the swirl marks in. Standard decontamination and prep is included. If your paint needs real correction we'll say so, show you in the light, and quote it separately — we won't quietly coat over defects.
Is it the same as the sealant in your detail?
No. The sealant included in an exterior or full detail is a sacrificial layer that wears away. A ceramic coating is a semi-permanent bonded layer, needs proper prep, takes far longer to apply, and costs accordingly.
Can you apply a coating at my house?
Yes — it's what we do. The car needs to be somewhere it can stay dry and undisturbed while the coating cures, so a garage or a covered driveway is ideal. Tell us what you've got when you book and we'll plan around it.
