Who we are
Super Mobile Car Detailing is a mobile detailing business operating in central Connecticut, trading as Super Mobile Car Detailing of Southington, CT andSuper Mobile Car Detailing of Waterbury, CT. We have no shop. We travel to wherever your vehicle is parked.
Booking is a request, not a confirmed appointment
Submitting the form on this site sends us a request. It is not confirmed until we reply to you by text, phone or email with a time. Until then, nothing is reserved and nothing is charged.
We will always confirm before we drive out. If we cannot make the slot you asked for, we will offer you the nearest one we can actually keep.
Prices
Prices shown on this site are the prices we charge. One price per service, whatever you drive. Oversized vehicles — three-row SUVs, vans, dually pickups — and luxury or exotic vehicles are charged $75 more, which is stated wherever a price appears.
All prices exclude sales tax. Tax is added and collected at the time of payment.
Add-on services are optional and priced separately. Nothing is added to your bill without you agreeing to it first.
When a price can change
The published price assumes a vehicle in ordinary condition. Some things genuinely take longer and cost more:
- Heavy pet hair worked into upholstery
- Set-in stains, spills or biological soiling
- Smoke odour requiring treatment beyond cleaning
- A vehicle that has not been cleaned in several years
If we find any of this, we tell you the revised price before we start work, not after we finish. You are free to decline. If you would rather know in advance, send us photos when you book and we will price it then.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is finished and you are satisfied with it. We do not take deposits for standard detailing and we do not charge before the job.
Cancelling or rescheduling
Tell us as early as you reasonably can and there is no charge. We would always rather move an appointment than have you feel stuck with one.
If we arrive at the agreed time and address and the vehicle is not accessible — locked with no key available, blocked in, or nobody able to let us to it — we have made the trip for nothing. We may ask to reschedule, and for repeated occurrences we may ask for a call-out contribution before booking again. We will always tell you before that applies.
Access, parking and utilities
We arrive self-contained with our own water and power. You do not need to provide a hose or an outlet.
You do need to give us somewhere lawful and reasonably safe to work — a driveway, a private space, or street parking where working on a vehicle is permitted. You are responsible for confirming that any parking restrictions, permit rules or property or association rules allow the work to take place.
You do not need to be present. If you are not, leave the keys somewhere we have agreed in advance.
Weather
We work outdoors. Heavy rain, ice, high winds or extreme cold can make some work impossible to do properly, and doing it badly serves nobody. If the weather will affect the result, we will contact you and reschedule. There is no charge for a weather reschedule.
Some services are more weather-dependent than others — coatings and sealants in particular need dry conditions and time to cure.
Your belongings
Please remove valuables, documents, cash, electronics and anything irreplaceable before we start. We will not go through a glovebox or a centre console beyond what cleaning requires.
Anything left in the vehicle stays in the vehicle. If we find something obviously personal, we set it aside in the car rather than move it.
Child seats: tell us if one is fitted. We will remove, clean under and refit it for an additional charge, or you can remove it yourself beforehand at no cost. If a child seat is fitted and neither has happened, we cannot clean underneath it.
Our guarantee
Walk around the vehicle with us before we leave. Anything you are not happy with, we put right there and then. That is the whole of it — there is no form, no window and no process.
What detailing can and cannot do
See our disclaimer. In short: cleaning and correction have real limits, and we would rather tell you where they are before you book.
Liability
We take care with your vehicle and we carry ourselves accordingly. If we damage something through our own negligence, tell us immediately — ideally before we leave — and we will make it right.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions that cleaning reveals rather than causes. Washing removes the dirt that was hiding a stone chip, a scratch, failing clear coat, existing rust, worn trim or a previous poor-quality repair. Those were there before we arrived.
We are also not responsible for loose, damaged, aftermarket or previously repaired components that fail during ordinary cleaning — sagging headliners, brittle aged plastics, loose trim, peeling wraps or vinyl, or paint already lifting.
Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. The version that applies to your booking is the one published when you booked. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
This is plain-English boilerplate, not legal advice. It was written to describe how this business actually operates rather than copied from a template, but it has not been reviewed by an attorney. Have a lawyer read it before you rely on it.
